"Ha! That'th three for Thollux and zip for ____."
You groaned and leaned back in your chair. Why did he have to be so good at this game? You and one of your closest friends, Sollux, were in your room battling head to head in Call of Duty. You didn't think that was the kind of game he would be into, but surprisingly he played it even more than you did. Sollux had immediately taken over the bed when he walked in the room so you slunk into your video rocker. It was your favorite seat in the room anyway since it could lean all the way back. Slowly kicking your foot on the ground to rock the chair, you grumbled and began setting up the next round.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Don't get cocky now. I'm bound to win at some point." He smiled at you and looked at you over his unique red and blue glasses.
"Am I thenthing a bit of jealouthy towardth my thuperior thkillth?" Oh he did not just go there. He knew that kind of thing got on your nerves so, of course, he used every opportunity he got to bug you with it. You would have been more mad but his lisp stopped you. You had always thought it was adorable and you knew how he felt, having had one yourself until you were seven or eight. You looked right back at him, trying to put on your best game-face.
"You wish. And who says it's skill and not just pure luck?"
"Well, thith ith the third day in a row that I've completely wiped the floor with you. You really need to practith more." Sollux smirked at you, clearly enjoying the annoyed expression he caused on you.
"No one likes a sore winner you know. Enjoy it while it lasts though, 'cause it won't last long." You finished the set up and were just about to start your victory round when you heard a loud "click" and the power went out. It was back on before either of you had time to react.
"What wath that about? Did your parentth flip the wrong thwitch in the breaker panel or thomething?"
"No, it's just some faulty wiring. It doesn't happen very often but it happens none the less. Besides, my parents aren't even home." You started to get up to turn the Xbox back on but he stopped you.
"I got it thith time. I should at leatht help in thome way if I'm a guetht." He got up and made his way over to the console, nearly tripping over the pile of wires by the TV.
"Jethuth, you need to learn to organize. You're gonna trip and break your neck or thomething."
"It's perfectly safe if you know where it all is. It's an organized mess."
"I think that'th an oximoron."
"Eh, it works enough." The setup for the Xbox and TV were only a couple feet away from where you had planted the chair so he was right in front of you when he bent over to fix some plugs and set things up. He unknowingly put his butt right by your face while he worked.
"Hey, game master, your ass is in my face." Without moving from his position he looked back at you from between his legs.
"Oh come on, you know you love thith view." You giggled as he started butt bumping the air. You had to admit, he did have a cute butt. You liked him quite a bit, but you knew nothing would ever really happen between the two of you so you mostly just ignored the feeling.
"Haha, hurry up and finish whatever it is you're doing so I can kick that bouncing ass of yours for once!" He chuckled for a second before standing back up to make his way back to his throne (a.k.a. your bed). His foot got caught on a loose wire he had failed to notice and he tripped, falling straight onto the video rocker and you.
"Oof!" You both grunted in unison from the collision. You started to blush lightly when you realized how the two of you were positioned. He had landed right on top of you with an arm on either side of the chair, trapping you. Both of his legs were between yours so that if you moved you would practically be straddling him. He pushed himself up a bit, smiled, and looked at you. His glasses had been knocked off slightly and were only half on his face.
"I told you thomeone would trip."
"Correction, you said I would trip. I seem to be fine, other than the teenage boy using me as a cushion to break his fall." He chuckled again, but didn't move. You felt your blush deepen a little with every second that passed by as he stayed looming over you. His arms were still acting as a barracade so any attempt at escape was futile. You squirmed a little underneath of him, trying to ease your awkward embarrassment to no avail. He must have noticed this because a little smirk grew on his lips.
"What, am I making you uncomfortable?" The smug sarcasm in his tone frustrated you immensely and he knew it.
"N-No. What makes you say that?" You mentally kicked yourself for how embarrassed you sounded. You saw his smirk grow a little wider.
"I wath jutht notithing that you look kinda cute when you blush." Your cheeks were now burning. You squirmed a little more but he still refused to budge. You were beginning to get pretty nervous which made you even more fidgetty and you gulped hard. He had a very sly look on his face as he studied your features. Then he lowered his face and closed the gap between your lips. You immediately went along with it, loving the feeling it gave you. His lips were soft but firm as he pressed into you, passion practically tangent in the air. You wrapped your legs around his waist as he deepened the kiss, with your hands sliding through his dishevoled hair. He put an arm around your back and used the other to support your weight as he picked you up and brought you both to you bed. Once you were laying down you felt his tongue run across your bottom lip, asking for entrance. Playfully you refused, thinking you would make him wait, but you felt him smile and he forced his way in. You grumbled a little out of frustraion, causing him to smile more. His hands began tracing up and down your figure, making you shiver. His warm hands felt amazing on your skin. He lifted his head from yours and started trailing soft kisses down your neck until he reached your collar bone, lightly biting your sensitive spot. You let out a small groan which he took as a signal to focus on that spot. You felt him tug at the hem of your shirt and could tell he was very eager to continue.
You were so caught up with this that you barely heard the front door of your house open then shut, signalling your parents arrival home. You quickly shot up, nearly knocking him off the bed, and scrambled over to your mirror to tidy up your hair and clothing as not to arrise suspicion. It wasn't like you weren't allowed to have guys over when your parents weren't home, but they paid close attention to details.
"What giveth? Did I do thomething wrong?" He sat up on your bed and gave you a confused look. You couldn't help but giggle at the way his hair stuck out at odder angles than usual, his glasses once again astray. You began to fully laugh when he suddenly got really embarrassed and put your pillow over his lap.
"No, but while you were distracted-" A knock at your door interrupted you.
"Sweety, are you home?" Your mom stood out in the hallway with a bag of groceries in hand.
"Yeah mom, and I have Sollux over. We were playing on the Xbox."
"In that case, keep your door open. You know the rule." You and Sollux shared a smile at that.
"Ok mom, but to be fair, you guys weren't home so I don't see why it would have mattered." You waited for a reply but figured she had just walked away. You looked back at where he sat awkwardly on your bed, the pillow still in his lap.
"Exactly how long is that going to take?" You nodded towards the pillow.
"I think we're thafe now." He put the pillow back in place and stood by your side to check his appearance in the mirror.
"Wow, you really did a number on my hair, didn't you?" He snickered as he adjusted his glasses and straightened his shirt.
"It's just so fun to play with!" You smiled up at him. He planted a small, sweet kiss on your lips.
"I think it'th about time for me to head home. I have a life outthide of you and video gameth you know."
